KATHMANDU, OCT 18 - One Basudev Dahal, member of the publicity department of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N), died in a tripper accident in the Capital on Saturday.
The ill-fated tripper (Ba 2 Kha 8747) carrying pebbles and en route to Balaju from Kavre district hit a motorcycle (Ba 29 Pa 7735) heading towards the same direction, spot killing Dahal who was on the bike.
Dahal, who hails from Panchan-1 of Solukhumbu district, was involved in journalism before getting involved in politics. He was involved with ‘Ghatana Ra Bichar’ programme at Radio Nepal and other media house.
Postmortem of his body was carried out at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj today.
DSP Ramesh Tamang informed that the tripper and its driver Chandra Bahadur Tamang have been held and that investigation is underway.according to ekantipur.
